Kelly Clarkson Snaps Photo With Friends While Seeing the ‘True’ King of Country in Concert

Outsider is obviously a huge fan of country legend, George Strait. Last night singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson shared her own love for the King of Country Music on social media. Her latest Instagram post features her with some friends attending one of George Strait’s concerts. She also tagged country star Blake Shelton in her post. Check it out.

George Strait’s tour schedule put him at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada last night where he is set to perform at the same location, tonight, August 14. Clarkson’s photo attracted lots of positive comments and attention following her posting. In response, fans expressed their love for her, her hat, and the King himself.

One commenter wrote, “You know the King of Country feels honored to have the QUEEN of music in the house.” Major love from an unknown fan. Someone else commented, “Love the hat” and another, “el sombrero😭,” which simply translates to “hat.”

Meanwhile, amidst her messy divorce proceedings, one Instagram user wrote, “You deserve to have so much fun! Laugh your a— off and dance the night away!” Sounds just about what the artist needs, especially when in Vegas.

Kelly Clarkson and Friends Took On Las Vegas Before the Concert

While we hope Queen Kelly enjoyed her night at the concert, Clarkson shared a different photo earlier in the day. She previously captured all the other kinds of fun she had with her friends. “Friends, Vegas Top Golf, and George Strait,” she wrote. “I dare you to have a better time than me right now.”

Although the post overall appears rather innocent, her caption is mighty passive-aggressive. Hence, why we can’t help but wonder if it has something to do with her current life changes concerning divorce from former music industry manager, Brandon Blackstock.

Currently, the two appear to be living their lives separately. Clarkson has primary custody of the couple’s two young children and Blackstock currently lives and works at their previously-shared Montana ranch. However, Clarkson is the individual in the battle taking all of the financial hits. Currently, she is required to pay her soon-to-be ex-husband around $200,000 monthly. Though seemingly ridiculous, he initially requested an amount of over $400,000 monthly. This was to include spousal support and child support. The request appeared over-zealous as the ex-manager has very little custody of the children in the first place.

And while Clarkson now possesses custody of the children, the court battle she endured trying to secure that custody was not easy, causing major mental strain for the artist. One People source previously said, concerning the custody case, “Divorce is hard, and it gets intense for most couples going through it. But Kelly’s primary focus is on doing the best she can to protect the kids.”

Nevertheless, things slowly seem to be looking up for the artist as she occupies her Las Vegas residency throughout the remainder of summer ’21, spends much more time with her children, works to change her legal last name back to Clarkson, and, during a momentary reprieve, enjoyed time with friends in infamous Las Vegas.
