All Kelsea Ballerini wants for Christmas is a “Hole in the Bottle” line dance.
After a fan tweeted how much they wanted a line dance to go along with the hit, Kelsea was eager to give her stamp of approval.
Even though social distancing practices are still in place, we’re dreaming of this line dance coming true at her next concert.
Earlier this month, Ballerini and the Canadian queen of country herself, Shania Twain, teamed up on the track. Since its release, the song has exploded. Fans of both Ballerini and Twain have taken to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to express how much they love it. The duo’s remix currently sits in the ‘BillboardTop 100.’
Shania + Kelsea: The Power Duo We Always Wanted
This isn’t the first time these two have joined forces. Their relationship began back in 2017 when Ballerini joined Twain on the Stagecoach stage. The two gave a knockout performance of Twain’s “Any Man of Mine.”
Earlier this month, Ballerini suggested a collab might be in the works when she performed “Hole in the Bottle” at the CMA Awards. Ballerini’s choice of a black and white dress and top hat reminded us all of Twain’s well-known music video for “Man! I Feel Like a Woman”
Coupled with that and her choice of words at the end of her performance when she shouted, “Let’s go ladies!” hinted something might be coming from the two.
In a statement made to Rolling Stone, Ballerini described her admiration for Twain, saying, “They say don’t meet your heroes…unless your hero is Shania Twain.”
She continued praising Twain, saying, “She’s inspired me in every way and has become a mentor and friend and added some major sass and spice to ‘Hole in the Bottle’ the way only Shania could.”
