Kenny Chesney Reminds Fans to Set Alarm Clock For Premiere of ‘Knowing You’ Music Video

Kenny Chesney will debut his new video for “Knowing You” via YouTube on March 12 at 10 a.m. CT.

And Kenny doesn’t want you to forget to set your clock. By the way, he’s not referring to daylight saving time this weekend. Kenny posted a helpful “reminder” via Twitter on March 11 to keep his No Shoes Nation in the know.

What We Know About the ‘Knowing You’ Video

The new clip was filmed in Gloucester, Mass., and St. Croix, in the Virgin Islands, by longtime collaborator Shaun Silva. The video features Kenny, his real-life boat captain Ben, and others working on a fishing boat in the Atlantic off of the Northeast Coast.

“I wanted to make a video where people could see it, even feel that connection and how it holds you going forward,” said Kenny Chesney. “To me, the people who touch your life in profound ways are everything, so this song—and this video—are for them.”

Tune in below on March 12 at 10 a.m. CT to watch Kenny’s sweeping new video.

Kenny Chesney Ships ‘Knowing You’ to Radio on March 15

“Knowing You” is featured on Kenny’s 19th studio album, Here and Now, which debuted atop the all-genre Billboard 200 chart and Billboard Top Country Albums chart in May 2020.

The album has already produced three Top 10 hits on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, including “Happy Does” (No. 2), “Here and Now” (No. 1), and “Tip of My Tongue” (No. 8).

Penned by Adam James, Brett James, and Kat Higgins, “Knowing You” will impact country radio on March 15.

“This song could be so many things to so many people,” said Kenny. “However the other person faded from your life, it doesn’t have to be sad, or it can be as complete as losing your spouse, family, your best friend, or band member. Those moments you shared were so electric and so alive, you’re forever more. And though they’re gone, you’re always better for what was shared.”
