If you’re a fan of Lee Greenwood, here is some news that is going to make you very happy! The 78-year-old singer and songwriter is about to head out on a lengthy tour!

Unsurprisingly, Lee Greenwood is very excited to be heading out on the road and to be performing for his fans once again.

“This announcement is only the beginning of what is shaping up to be a record year for us. I have not done such a major tour in many years; normally it is one or two in a row and back home. This tour is going to have me performing at places from small to large, fair to festival, and everything in between,” Greenwood said during a recent interview.

The first stop on Lee Greenwood’s “40 Years of Hits Tour” is the County Music Cruise in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He will perform there from Jan. 15 through Jan. 18 in 2022.

Dates for this tour are scheduled through late September 2022. Just a few of the stops during the tour will be Newberry, South Carolina; Daytona, Florida; Crossville, Tennessee; Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Mayetta, Kansas; Ottumwa, Iowa; Fredericksburg, Texas; Niagra Falls, New York; Lodi, California; and Vernal, Utah.

Lee Greenwood Has Hits Songs Other Than ‘God Bless The U.S.A.’

Lee Greenwood celebrated the 40th anniversary of the release of “God Bless The U.S.A.” earlier in 2021. While many people know Greenwood as the singer of that wildly popular American anthem, he has also had many other hit songs during his many decades in country music.

During his career, the singer and songwriter has seen more than 20 of his songs reach the Top 10. A few of these hit singles were “She’s Lyin’,” “It Turns Me Inside Out,” and “Ring on Her Finger, Time on Her Hands.”

Greenwood is also an award-winning performer. He has received ACM Awards, CMA Awards, and Grammy Awards during his career. Also, during 2021, he was honored with an event titled the “All-Star Salute to Lee Greenwood.” It was held at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. The Oak Ridge Boys, Michael Ray, and Lee Brice joined the event to celebrate what Greenwood has given the country music genre.

Lee Greenwood is also known for his philanthropic efforts. For example, during September 2021, he teamed up with Bass Pro Shops and Helping a Hero to give accessible homes to two veterans and their families.
