Loretta Lynn Asks ‘Will You Be Mine’ in Throwback Valentine’s Photo

Loretta Lynn, considered by many as “The First Lady of Country Music,” knows how to warm up her fans’ hearts on a very special day.

Lynn shares a throwback photo with her fans on Valentine’s Day. She definitely taps into the Valentine’s vibe with hearts all around her. She’s wearing a red dress with a white trim around the collar.

While there is no timestamp on when this precious photo was taken, it appears to be during a time when Lynn was wearing her hair shorter. She’s been letting her hair grow out to shoulder length in recent years.

Take a look at Loretta Lynn offering you a tender Valentine’s Day message.

Lynn, who is 88, remains involved in the country music scene. A number of her contemporaries like Dolly Parton as well as newer performers always revere the path blazed by Loretta Lynn, the “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

Loretta Lynn Puts Out New Album ‘Still Woman Enough’

While Lynn may be slowing down in some areas of her life, performing and recording songs isn’t one of them. Earlier in February, she put the word out on the street to go get her new album, “Still Woman Enough.”

Her official website informs readers that this is the 50th studio album from Lynn. “Still Woman Enough” is a celebration of women in country music, the site continues.

The album is available through Apple Music.

Lynn said herself she is “just so thankful to have some of my friends join me on my new album. We girl singers gotta stick together!

“It’s amazing how much has happened in the 50 years since ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’ first came out and I’m extremely grateful to be given a part to play in the history of American music,” she said.

Country music, especially for women, would not be as successful today without the hard work Loretta Lynn has put into her work over the years.
