Loretta Lynn’s next album is highly-anticipated and set to release soon.
Many fans are looking forward to the female country legend bringing some older voices back to life. For example, she will be singing “I Saw the Light,” which was written and performed by Hank Williams.

Williams’ “I Saw the Light” is a song about discovering faith. For Loretta Lynn, who is a country singer with gospel influences, it will be the perfect song choice.
“I saw the light, I saw the light / No more darkness, no more night / Now I’m so happy no sorrow in sight / Praise the Lord I saw the light.”
The album, “Still Woman Enough,” is being produced by John Carter Cash, the son of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Her daughter, Patsy Lynn Russell is also a producer on the album. It was mostly recorded in the Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Showing Off Female Voices
The project is meant to represent country’s female legends from every time period. It will focus on music from her earlier career as well as incorporate newer voices and renditions.
She will have Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Margo Price, and Tanya Tucker all as guests on her album.
“I am just so thankful to have some of my friends join me on my new album. We girls gotta stick together … It’s amazing how much has happened in the 50 years since Coal Miner’s Daughter first came out, and I’m extremely grateful to be given a part to play in the history of American music,” Loretta Lynn said, according to Taste of Country.
The album will have 13 tracks on it. This includes “Keep on the Sunny Side” written by A.P. Carter, “Still Woman Enough” with McEntire and Underwood, “You Ain’t Woman Enough” with Tanya Tucker, “Coal Miner’s Daughter Recitation,” and “One’s on the Way” with Margo Price, written by Shel Silverstein.
Loretta Lynn is tipping her hat to some of country’s older songwriters and performers, including herself while acknowledging the strength of the female singers in country right now.
Lynn’s No.1 hit and most-known song is “Coal Miner’s Daughter.” Fans can celebrate the 50th anniversary of the hit with the release of black vinyl on Feb. 12. Then, only a month later, “Still Woman Enough” will drop for fans on March 19. Both are available for pre-order now.
