As the music industry starts to slowly open back up again, artists are making their return to the stage in different ways.

Musicians have been announcing more albums, upcoming tours, and a future that has live music a part of the equation once again.

Country artist Luke Bryan is stepping into new territory soon. He has announced an upcoming Las Vegas residency on the Today show.

“I’m going to do my first-ever headlining run at Resorts World Las Vegas … It’s a 5,000 seat theater … I’m so excited,” Bryan told the show.

The residency in Las Vegas would start on February 11, which is right around Super Bowl weekend. However, people can start getting tickets on May 24. He jokingly said his biggest preparation for the performances is “I’ve already went and bought all the gambling self-help books.”

Having a residency at the Las Vegas casinos is different than other kinds of shows. Bryan explained that “It kind of becomes your office, you get to leave your stuff out there.” Although he will be situated there for a bit, Bryan will still be doing his normal headlining performances at the same time. Las Vegas will just serve as a type of home base amidst all the chaos.

Celine Dion, Katy Perry, and Carrie Underwood have all also announced their upcoming Las Vegas residencies.

Something else that’s coming up for Luke Bryan fans is his 2021 tour. Starting in July, Bryan will be on his “Proud To Be Right Here” tour.

Luke Bryan Hard Seltzer and Beer

Besides working on his music over quarantine, Luke Bryan has also been hard at work with other business ventures.

The country icon is a judge on the popular singing competition, “American Idol.” He also partnered with Jockey to do some underwear commericals, some of which featured his wife, Caroline Boyer.

Many of his fans are also excited about his beer and seltzer brand that he co-created, Two Lane Beer. He said that “The name [Two Lane] is like what you find at the end of the two lane road: a place to go fishing or camping or hang with your buddies,” according to Entertainment Tonight.

The brand sells an American Golden Lager as well as several hard seltzer flavors. Hard seltzers have been soaring in popularity over the past few years. Two Lane has peach tea, cherry limeade, blueberry lemonade, and watermelon punch flavors.

While the beer and seltzer just recently released, Luke Bryan has already gotten approval where it matters most — his mother.

“I can honestly say that I mean I come from a long line of beer drinkers and this one, it’s a great one, and when I give it to some of my buddies and my buddies back home, it passes with flying colors. My mother is a top notch world class beer expert… [and] I’m glad she likes it. Mama has approved the beer,” Bryan said.
