Country music star Luke Combs is walking away with two big-time awards tonight at the 2021 iHeart Music Awards.
Luke Combs has already won his fair share of awards during his incredible career in the country music industry. He has earned two Grammy Award nominations, five CMA awards, and two iHeart Radio awards, among others. And now he can add two more iHeart radio music awards to that list.
On Thursday night, Combs was officially announced as the winner of the Country Artist of the Year award and the Country Album of the Year award. The country music superstar’s latest album, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get, has without a doubt been a smashing success. Combs thanked everyone who has helped him get to this point during his virtual acceptance speech.
“This album was a huge part of my life, obviously. And there’s so many people to thank for this thing,” Luke Combs said. “First off, my buddies that I write songs with. My producer Scott Moffatt, Chip Matthews, Jonathan Singleton. My team, Kappy, everybody, you know who you are. Everybody at iHeart, the fans obviously for loving this album.”
“But this one really goes out to the songwriters,” he explained. “Man, without you guys I wouldn’t have these songs, so I just wanted to say thank y’all and thanks iHeart for believing in me. Thanks again!”
Meanwhile, the official Bobby Bones Show Twitter account posted an update with winners from tonight’s show including Luke Combs, and more.

Luke Combs’ ‘What You See Ain’t Always What You Get’ Album
Luke Combs has been one of the very best in the business for a number of years now. And his What You See Ain’t Always What You Get album is a perfect example of Combs and his team knowing exactly what the fans want to hear.
The name of the album should sound familiar to country fans. After all, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get is a repackaged album from Combs. It was released in October of 2020 as the deluxe edition of Comb’s second studio album, What You See Is What You Get.
The deluxe version of the album featured Luke Combs’ standalone single, “Six Feet Apart,” released in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, along with five new songs.
