Luke Combs gave a special shoutout to his mini-me on Twitter. On Tuesday, the singer-songwriter retweeted a video of a young fan, Noah, singing and playing along to Combs’ song “Better Together.”

The soon-to-be superstar’s father posted the original clip. In the video, little Noah is sitting on the back of the couch, rocking out with his appropriately sized guitar. He’s wearing matching pajamas while singing along to the country hit.

“Noah loves music and one of the things he asked for was a guitar for Christmas! He loves trying to play it while listening to @lukecombs! #FutureCountrySinger #BetterTogether.”

It didn’t take long for Combs to show his support for Noah’s future career as a country music singer. “Noah, keep it up buddy!”

With the support of one of country music’s breakout stars, there’s no doubt little Noah will have a career in Nashville in a few years, that is.

Luke Combs Honored at 2020 ACM & CMA Awards for ‘Better Together’

“Better Together” is the fifth single from Combs’ recent album What You See Is What You Get. Combs wrote the song with Dan Isbell and Randy Montana. It dropped as a single on Oct 12 of this year.

The song features Combs “comparing himself and his lover to other necessary couplings.”

Even though Noah may be too young to feel heartbreak, Combs’ music is at the top of the list when it comes to getting over a breakup.

In an interview, Combs describes that he wrote the hit back in his home state.

“I wrote ‘Better Together’ in the mountains of North Carolina about two and a half years ago maybe. We started it there.”

At the time, he gave fans a tease by posting it on social media, “I put a little clip of it on my Instagram,” and Luke says the reaction to the track was great, “People have always loved it.”

Discussing how Combs created the final version, he says, “We ended up recording it and going with a kind of a very stripped down production of just me and a piano, and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.”

Not only does Noah love the song — so did many others. At this past CMA and ACM Awards, he took home the title of “Album of the Year” at both ceremonies.
