Luke Combs Shares Photo With Wife From Boat Deck, Holding Massive Fish

Country star Luke Combs is living his best life with blue skies and big fish.

Spring is here and that means sunshine and fishing trips. Luke Combs wasted no time getting on the water with his wife Nicole. The “Beautiful Crazy” singer shared a photo of himself holding a massive fish and posing along with Nicole. Along with the photo, he wrote, “Hookin’ ‘em and reelin’ ‘em in.”

And this isn’t even the couple’s first fishing trip. The two adventured in Montana last month and shared several photos of both the gorgeous landscape and their catches. Luke Combs even teamed up with Columbia Sportswear for a fishing trip to Mexico with his crew. Luke Combs even caught his first tuna during the trip. During a promotional video, Combs talked about the trip and his love for fishing.

“We really are just dudes who love being outside and going fishing,” said Combs about him and his crew.

Luke Combs’s Wife Nicole Helped Kickstart His Music Career

Nicole Combs (formerly Hocking) grew up in Fort Myers, Florida. She attended Florida Gulf Coast University and majored in civil engineering. However, she found a different career path after graduation. She moved to Nashville and landed a job at BMI (Broadcast Music Inc). While there, her friends introduced her to one of their mutual friends, Luke Combs. At the time, Luke Combs was the definition of a struggling musician. He didn’t have a record deal or publishing deal, and his manager had never managed anyone before.

“Everybody was like, ‘Yeah, this is never gonna work,’” said combs during an interview in 2018. “And so I didn’t have anything when we met.”

But the two started dating and Nicole met a lot of A-list performers in the music world. She helped Combs as he moved up in the industry. Between Nicole’s support and Luke’s talents, the two were a music match made in heaven. After two years of dating, the two announced their engagement in 2018. Despite being a music superstar, Combs opted for a cozy, country proposal at home in their kitchen. The two married in August of last year. Along with a photo of him and Nicole as newlyweds on a beach, Combs wrote, “Yesterday was the best day of my life. I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever.”
