Maren Morris is all of us as she struggles to figure out what to watch after finishing her favorite show.

The country star shared her recent dilemma with fans on Twitter. Morris says that she recently finished the West Wing series and doesn’t know what to watch next. Morris writes, “We finished The West Wing. We don’t know what to do with ourselves now. As Sorkin would write, ‘What’s next?'”

Having been quarantined on and off for the past year, fans were empathetic. They immediately came to Morris’s rescue by sharing their favorite series.

One commenter suggested, “I went directly to The Newsroom & loved it!”

Another fan wrote, “Madam Secretary is a must if you’re into political shows!! By far my favorite tv show.”

One fan even referenced our favorite show, Yellowstone. “We said the same thing after knocking out Yellowstone. West Wing is still on our binge list. We loved Nashville, even though season 6 was a little odd,” wrote the follower.

We wish Morris the best in all her binge-watching ventures!

Have You Heard Maren Morris’ New Song?

Morris recently teamed up with musician JP Saxe to release their new song, “Line By Line.” The song is a sweet love song during which Morris and Saxe take turns talking about how they cannot summarize their love in just one song.

During the song, they sing, “Love too big for a love song. If I tried to sum it up I know I’d get it wrong. Sometimes if it don’t sound right. I apologize, I just said it ’cause it rhymed. Four chords, three minutes, you never fit in it. So I just take you line by line. I’ll be writing about you for the rest of my life. Line by line by line by line.”

During an interview, Saxe said that there are human experiences that are simply too indescribable to fit into a song. Love, Saxe says, is one of those experiences. He says that “Line By Line,” represents that.

“Regarding what it’s about — as songwriters we spend a lot of our lives trying to bottle up a feeling into a song, and often, the biggest feelings, the best ones… the complicated, detailed, messy, incredible ones… just aren’t going to fit,” says Saxe. “‘Line by Line’ is our recognition of that… of how one song just isn’t enough to capture it all, but how we’re just going to keep writing, futilely and lovingly, anyway,” says Saxe.
