Miranda Lambert Recently Released the Music Video
Lambert and McLoughlin released the music video for the song on Oct. 21. The video featured Lambert and McLoughlin as a couple falling in love together. The video featured an idyllic summer setting. Lambert revealed it was the first time she created a video with a boyfriend or husband.
“I’ve never had a video in 18 years in the business with a love interest, and so it’s kinda funny that my husband’s my first one,” she told New York’s County 94.7.
“I’m like, ‘You’re cute, you’re here, and you’re free, so get the camera,” Lambert continued. “It was fun; he did such a great job. And our little dog is in it, and our ponies. It’s at my magical-happy place an hour away from Nashville.”
Lambert discussed the inspiration behind the song during a fan Q&A. The music video was filmed on Lambert’s farm.
“Wherever the people that you love are is home, so it can be anywhere,” Lambert said. “But it was a cool song to write at the very time that we needed to write it. I feel like a lot of people feel that way, that they have this gypsy spirit, and they want to be rock ‘n’ roll, but they also love having a morning at home with their bare feet on their own kitchen floor. It’s an amazing struggle to deal with actually.”
