Miranda Lambert and Husband Brendan McLoughlin are ‘Top Gun’s’ Charlie and Maverick for Halloween

On Sunday (October 31st), country superstar Miranda Lambert shared on her social media accounts some snapshots of her and her husband Brandon McLoughlin rocking Top Gun costumes.

“Happy Halloween from Charlie and Maverick. #topgun,” Miranda Lambert wrote in the post’s captions. 

Followers of Lambert shared their thoughts about the amazing costumes. “👏👏👏 “Remember boys, no points for second place,” one follower wrote. Another also commented, “Take my breath awaaaaay ❤️❤️.”

Along with the Top Gun costumes, Miranda Lambert also dressed as one of the Hocus Pocus Sanderson sisters alongside her Pistol Annies bandmates Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley. The all-women group announced last week the debut of their new Christmas album. “Happy, Spooky, Merry…y’all it’s HERE! Our new Christmas Album ‘Hell of a Holiday’ is out now!!”

Miranda Lambert Gets Inducted Into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame 

On Friday (October 29th), Miranda Lambert announced she was inducted into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame, which is located in Fort Worth Texas. The country singer described the induction as being one of the great honors of her life. 

“I’m still processing this and will be for a long time,” Lambert writes on Instagram. “Being part of this kick a— club has lit a new fire in me to keep pushing to be better. To keep learning new things and to hold on tight to the grit and determination it takes to achieve your goals.”

Miranda goes on to share that she still has a long way to go to be half as cool as the 200 plus cowgirls who have been inducted over the years. “But I’m ready for the journey. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the @cowgirlmuseum for trusting me with this honor. Thank you to my family and close friends for joining me to celebrate and to Eleanor Green for nominating me. My heart is full.”

Miranda Lambert Returns to Her Hometown of Lindale, Texas For Honor Your Home Initiative 

Miranda Lambert recently shared more details about her hometown Lindale, Texas for the Honor Your Hometown Initiative. In the video, Lambert states, “I’m on my childhood porch visiting my mama and I thought what a better time to record something about my hometown while I’m right in the middle of it.”

Miranda Lambert also explained that Lindale is the town that shaped her and built her into the country singer she is today. “Your quintessential small town, Friday night football, Sunday morning church, potlucks, and homecoming. I come back here often. But it’s what always reminds me of my root.”

Lambert also claims that Lindale has become centered around music, food, wine, and fellowship. “Growing up there wasn’t many places to play. So I’m so thankful that my little hometown of Lindale has really embraced the music scene and the fellow scene.”
