Country superstar Miranda Lambert took to her Twitter account on Sunday (July 18th) to provide a sneak peek at her fashion brand’s fall fashion line.
Miranda launched “Idyllwind Fueled by Miranda Lambert” in September 2018. She describes the line as a “true expression” of her style and is for the everyday girl who is also a “badass.” “[Idyllwind was] created around comfortable, affordable, great fitting clothes and boots that I call my trusties,” Lambert states. She is also working with Boot Barn on the fashion line.
Miranda Lambert also shares with Yahoo! Life in 2018 what inspired her to actually launch the Idyllwind fashion line. “I always loved the way clothes can express the women underneath – how it makes them feel and move,” she explains. She notes she wanted to create a brand that made women feel “badass while doing ordinary or extraordinary things.”
Miranda Lambert goes on to add that Dolly Parton is one of the style influencers she truly admires. “She is who she is and wears what she loves and owns her style like no other woman I know.”
Miranda Lambert Reveals What Inspired Her Fashion Line’s Name
In a 2019 interview with Page Six, Miranda Lambert reveals that her fashion line was named after one of her horses, Ellie Idyllwind. “I had started riding horses at the age of 30,” Miranda recalls. She says prior to 30, she had never ridden a horse and described her first ride as fun and a bit scary.
“When thinking about naming the brand and what this clothing line meant to me, it was all about taking risks, being brave, and trying something new,” Miranda reveals. She says the line also represents her life on horseback so the name “Idyllwind” seems like the perfect name for the brand.
Miranda Lambert admits that she “countless” pairs of cowboy boots, calling it “a boot problem.” She then explains the “yeehaw couture” trend.
“I don’t really know what the ‘yeehaw’ thing is all about, but it’s good to know that the Western trend is being embraced and is considered fashionable.”
