Miranda Lambert could not say enough about her three-day visit to Charleston with her husband. On Instagram earlier today, the country music star posted a series of pictures from her dreamy visit to the charming southern city.
This continues her southeastern road trip of amazing cities as she visited Ashville earlier in the month. From the beautiful old homes to the Live Oaks with Spanish Moss, Charleston seems stuck in time. Miranda Lambert certainly had a lot of good things to say about it at least.
“Dreamy Charleston, SC I miss you already,” Miranda Lamber began her Instagram post. “There is too much to say about this place for one post but here are some highlights.”
Highlights from the Miranda Lambert Charleston Trip
She went on to thank Halls Chophouse “for the warm welcome back” to the beautiful city in her post. She also shouted out their “most delicious Sunday brunch and Gospel music” that she enjoyed while she was there. The first picture of her post shows Miranda Lambert and her husband outside Halls Chophouse with two friends in Charleston.
Her next big thank you went to the Harken Cafe, which she said “was the sweetest little place for breakfast” in town. The next picture of the post shows her “spiced vanilla latte with oat milk” crafted in the shape if a heart. She paired this with avocado toast “for the win.”
Historic Sites In the City
You can’t talk about Charleston without talking about the beautiful old timeless feeling of the city. Miranda Lambert certainly noticed that vibe on her three-day getaway with her husband.
“You could spend days in this town,” Miranda Lambert wrote. “Just looking at the beautiful historic homes and churches and the art galleries. We booked a half-day tour with Tours by Locals and we picked Joyce Wier as our guide. She was fun, charismatic, and super knowledgeable about the history of Charleston.”
Most of the rest of the pictures in the post pictured some of these old homes, churches, and galleries that she mentions. One picture features Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLaughlin next to a beautiful Live Oak draped with Spanish Moss, a classic feature of Charleston.
“I learned so much,” Miranda Lambert continued. “The gardens at Middleton Place were beautiful. We also loved the KOA Holiday /Mt. Pleasant. The best part was the “alligators may live here” sign! I could go on and on about this town and 3 days this time around wasn’t nearly enough. I can’t wait to go back. If y’all haven’t been to the Lowcountry, you better GIT down there!”
You can take it directly from Miranda Lambert, Charleston is a beautiful place to visit. From the historic district to the good eats, once you get there, you never want to leave.
