Miranda Lambert has big things in store for Nashville’s bar scene. Recently, The Marfa Tapes singer opened up about what fans can expect when they walk into her new bar.

Casa Rosa, also known as “Pink House” in Spanish, is currently under construction in the Broady area of Nashville, Tenn. The multi-level Texas-themed saloon will be one of many bars owned by country stars such as Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line, and others.

Yet, her bar will have its own feminine flair that includes a mix of femininity, Tex Mex food, and tequila bar.

“It’s got pink booths. I took a page out of the Billy Bob’s Texas book, and put a giant rhinestone saddle up, so it’s cool,” she said proudly about Casa Rosa. “It definitely has a little feminine touch for all the gals that are coming. I am the first girl to ever have a honky-tonk on Broadway, so I am super pumped. I’m gonna make sure all the girls have a little something when they get here.”

Lambert hopes Casa Rosa will open this summer, and as describes, will hopefully act as a “silver lining” to the tumultuous year that 2020 was. Additionally, Lambert’s love for Nashville’s historic Broadway district goes back to her early days.

“I mean, I grew up singing in honky-tonks. So naturally, the first thing I did when I got to Nashville Star was go to Broadway,” she says, calling Casa Rosa another way of making Nashville home. “I think the first time I got like, really good and drunk was at Tootsie’s. One of those needing-to-be-taken-home-out-the-back-door kind of nights, where they’re like ‘Oooookay, you’re done here,'” she says with a laugh. “But I think I’ve earned that as a country music singer.”

Casa Rosa’s food and drinks will also pay homage to Lambert’s home state of Texas. “Tacos and tequila are the primary dishes at the restaurant,” she said. She added that she’s already done three or four tastings for menu options. “We’re doing a friends and family day coming up soon to get final approval from a couple of Texans.”

For the bar, Lambert partnered with TC Restaurant Group. The group is known for its work with other Nashville artists’ restaurants, including Florida Georgia Line’s FGL House and Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar. Casa Rosa will be a four-level entertainment complex with three floors of live music and a rooftop bar.
