Brace yourselves for some pandemic envy, Miranda Lambert fans. The country queen is an absolute covid-vacation-pro and has the photos to prove it.
Let’s get right to it: Miranda Lambert is doing this pandemic thing right. Adhering to protocols, she’s set out once again with husband Brendan McLoughlin for some good ol’ adventuring. Posting to her official Twitter account today, Lambert is updating fans & followers on the trip – and it looks like an absolute blast.
“Hey y’all, we’re back out on the road with ‘The Sheriff,'” she starts off. “The Sheriff” is, of course, her Airstream RV she purchased last year. Their destination?
“First stop was Asheville NC. My first time there and this was night one sleeping under the Wolf moon at the KOA,” she says of their trip. The wolf moon took place January 28, and was absolutely spectacular to behold – as her photos show below.
Miranda Lambert & Beau Visit The Biltmore Estate
“It was pretty magical. We visited The Biltmore Estate. It was absolutely stunning,” she ends the first tweet. Her vacation-extraordinaire-expose doesn’t stop there, either. She’s treating fans to a string of four tweets, each featuring lovely photos from Asheville.
In her second round, she focuses on The Biltmore Estate. A staple of the American South and a sight to behold, the famous mansion is known as “America’s Largest Home”. The estate even has this phrase trademarked. Talk about dedication!
“You can feel the history & [heart] put into the property as soon as you step foot there,” Lambert says of Biltmore. “The details in the architecture/beautiful conservatory took my breath away. I bought a bonbon (bday cake one) & ate it on the terrace. Just wanted to say I ate a bonbon at the Biltmore. Fancy like,” she adds, ever chipper.
For those curious, The Biltmore Estate is a breathtaking National Historic Landmark. Of it, their website details that “Before it became one of North Carolina’s most popular tourist destinations, it was simply “home” to the Vanderbilt family. George Vanderbilt visited Asheville, NC, in 1888 and was captivated by the area’s natural beauty.”
As a result, The Biltmore Estate was born. Have a gander at Miranda Lambert & Brendan McLoughlin on it’s gorgeous grounds below.
The Moose Cafe & Local Vet Get Lambert-Laden Shoutouts
In her additional tweets, Miranda Lambert shouts out one local business that’s sure to see a sales boom.
“Another fav was The Moose Cafe where they serve warm biscuits the size of my face with homemade apple butter and we had the sweetest waitress,” she adds. Yup, sounds like the South to this Nashville born & raised author!
“The Curate tapas bar was delish and The Red Stag Grill had the coolest vibes and a great cocktails called “quarantine fatigue.” Amen!” Amen, indeed. We could all use one of those in perpetuity until this whole thing’s over, yah?
“One last thing….” Lamberts adds in her final tweet before touching on a more somber subject. “We have the pups along on this trip, and Delta Dawn pulled her back out,” she says of her beloved dog. Thankfully, it looks like a local vet stepped up and took excellent care of the Lamberts.
“I wanna say a big thank you nice people at MedVet Asheville for taking such good care of her . She is doing fine! Needless to say, we will be back very soon Asheville NC!”

No One Does it Like the South
How’s that for a shining endorsement? If you’re a fellow patient at MedVet Asheville, you might want to go ahead and book up your next visit or six. The Moose Cafe and MedVet are about to receive a massive influx in business, courtesy of Miranda Lambert fans.
Needless to say, the couple had a grand ol’ time in Asheville, North Carolina. If any of you fellow Outsiders haven’t paid the city and it’s gorgeous nature a visit, we can’t recommend it enough. Turns out Miranda Lambert can’t, either!
