In many ways, this summer feels like a return to normal life. After over a year of waiting, live music has finally returned. Artists and fans alike have been itching for the concert experience. No number of live-streamed shows or taped performances can take the place of live music. There’s a kind of magic that weaves its way through a concert crowd that you can’t find anywhere else. Miranda Lambert is one of many country stars that are out on the road right now.
Earlier today, Miranda Lambert posted a few photos of herself and her husband Brendan McLoughlin. From the photos, it looks like they are happy to be back in her bus traveling around the country. Check out the photos below.
“On the road again, y’all,” Miranda Lambert wrote in the caption. Then, she makes a joke about only one of them taking the tour life seriously. If you scroll through the photos in the post, you’ll see what she means. In the second snap, McLoughlin is hamming it up for the camera. With that out of the way, she took time to thank the last two cities that welcomed her and her band. She was recently in both Valparaiso, Indiana, and Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
There are three photos in Miranda Lambert’s post. The first two are adorable snaps of the happy couple. However, the third one is just cool. It’s s shot of Miranda on stage. It gives fans an idea of what their view would be if they went to see her live.
More Miranda Lambert – Live And Otherwise
If you want to see that view for yourself, you’re in luck. Miranda Lambert kicked off her tour on July 17th in Belmont, Ohio. Before that, she announced her upcoming dates in an Instagram post. The last stop on her nationwide tour will be in Ridgefield, Washington on November 14th. So there is plenty of time to make plans to go and see her live.
However, if you want more Miranda Lambert right now, she has plenty of new music to check out. You could revisit The Marfa Tapes. It’s not live but it is raw and has a great vibe to it. However, Lambert teamed up with her Marfa Tapes partners, Jack Ingram and Jon Randall, for an episode of CMT’s Campfire Sessions. They covered Ray Wylie Hubbard’s “Up Against the Wall, Redneck Mother,” and it’s awesome. Check out the video below.
If you’re in the mood for some pure summer vibes, Miranda Lambert has that, too. She recently released a remix of “Tequila Does,” with an electronic beat. It’s a fun summer jam.
