That is one impressive list of stars. We are excited to see some Outsider favorites on the bill, including Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, and Luke Bryan. I myself am happy to see Sam Hunt and Kelsea Ballerini be included in the fun as well.
The performances begin to air at 7 p.m. CST on CBS and Paramount+. Each artist will be gracing a Nashville stage, whether it is at a honky-tonk bar or on the 5th + Broadway rooftop. At midnight, the Nashville music note will drop from the top of the Bicentennial Mall.
Entertainment Tonight host Rachel Smith and Country radio personality Bobby Bones will host the big event. The event will allow a live audience to participate in the festivities as well.
Dierks Bentley on Nashville’s New Year’s Eve “Big Bash”
Dierks Bentley is excited to be a part of CBS’ “Big Bash” lineup this year. He says that the event is a special one for Nashville.
“When I found out that this big CBS special is happening in my adopted hometown in Nashville, I really wanted to be part of it,” Bentley says. “Because it’s a special moment for the city. It’s a special moment for country music.”
The Arizona-born star gives fans some hints as to what to expect from his set. Bentley says it is going to be upbeat and fun.
“I definitely want to make the show tailored to New Year’s Eve and that vibe. I really want to bring the part and make it fun. And especially if it’s cold out there, keep it up tempo. I’m sure I’ll probably intro some songs with New Year’s Eve in mind.”
He also hopes that a collaboration with another artist on the bill could be possible.
“I’ve been looking around to see who else is also playing on the stage with me. And there’s some great artists. So if they’re hanging around, we’re definitely going to be pulling people up and trying to make it great.”
I would love to see Dierks Bentley team up with Miranda Lambert. Wouldn’t that be something?
