All About the Oak Ridge Boys and Their Residency

The Oak Ridge Boys are performing 29 shows in 25 days as part of Gaylord Opryland’s 38th annual A Country Christmas event. The show is a dinner show and the tickets cost $99.99 for an adult and $39.99 for children. Fans will be treated to an excellent meal and 2-hour show. This is the first time that their legendary Christmas show is a residency. In years past, they’ve toured the country with their Christmas spectacular.

“We’ll be singing about Santa and romance—and, as always, we will throw in some of our biggest hits,” Joe Bonsall revealed. “We’ll also be reminiscing about Christmases past. But, most importantly, we’ll be celebrating the birth of Christ. What a great way to end this crazy, upside-down year and put a positive cap on 2020.”

On November 14, the band had to cancel their show due to COVID concerns due to one of the guys feeling ill. Country singers Cam and Jon Pardi performed in their absensce.

“We are sorry to report that we will not be at @opry tonight as planned,” the group wrote at the time. “One of our guys is not feeling good and in agreement with our Opry Family and under these new Covid 19 protocols we can NOT chance it … The @opry has been front and foremost in following these rules.”

As of now, the group is back to performing shows.
