Travis Tritt has fans jealous of his Fourth of July set up on his back deck. With a glistening pool, hot tub and covered bar, it looks like the perfect place to celebrate our nation’s independence.

In the photos he posted on Instagram, Tritt shows off his patriotic decorations. Miniature American flags poke out of each of Tritt’s potted plants, and a bunting banner accessorizes the top of his bar’s pillars. The country star proudly wrote in his caption, “Our house is all decked out in red, white and blue! Looking forward to celebrating Independence Day with family and friends. Have a safe and happy holiday weekend! #landofthefree“.

Whether it will just be the Tritt family or a gathering of friends, who’s to say. All we know is that we’re still waiting on the invitation.

Travis Tritt Takes Holiday Break From Touring

While Travis Tritt has come home for the patriotic holiday, he won’t be staying very long. In fact, the country icon heads back out on his tour shortly after the long weekend. On July 8th, he’ll be performing his next concert at the Hodag Country Festival in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

Even though he enjoyed the time he had with his family during the pandemic last year, Travis Tritt is thrilled to be back on the road and in front of fans. On Wednesday, Tritt posted a few photos and videos on Instagram of his recent concert in Virginia. In a green-lit room full of captivated listeners, Tritt has his hand up over his guitar, mid-strum, as he’s clearly in his happy place.

“I’m so grateful to be able to play live shows again,” Tritt wrote in the caption.

Tritt shared a video of one of his biggest hits that his fans know from the very first chord.

You say you were wrong to ever leave me alone
Now you’re sorry, you’re lonesome and scared
And you say you’d be happy if you could just come back home
Well, here’s a quarter, call someone who cares

Only Tritt and his acoustic guitar are on stage as he sings “Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares).” Unlike the more pop-focused country that’s more popular today, Tritt brings back the stripped-down, no-frills kind of talent and grit that’s behind so many classic country artists.

Returning to Playing Live Music

Along with the classics, Tritt will be playing songs from his new album released in 2021, Set in Stone. His first album in 14 years, the lineup includes hit singles like “Smoke in a Bar” and “Stand Your Ground.”

While most artists may experiment with a new style after such a long gap in releases, Tritt gives his fans what they crave with another dose of his signature sound of gritty vocals and lots of piano.

Clearly, Travis Tritt is telling us that he’s not changing his ways. And we’re just glad to hear his outlaw attitude is set in stone.
