If you are looking for a sweet getaway, then reach out to Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. News is they put a private island up on the market.

Reportedly, an island that is owned by Hill and McGraw called L’île d’Anges has been listed on the market for $35 million. The island is located in the Bahamas. Hill and McGraw, major country music superstars in their own right, bought the land in 2003. They did not move in until 2012 because the couple needed to build up the living quarters and more.

“We set out to build a house,” Hill said in a story from the New York Post. “We had no idea we had to build everything else. (So) we basically had to build a little town.”

“You don’t quite put all that together at first,” Tim McGraw said.

Faith Hill, Tim McGraw Watch Over Construction On Island

Just what did the couple have to build up? Well, they had to put their heads together around staff housing, infrastructure for construction crews, water, and electricity. These things were missing from the island, so the country music power couple had to get to work.

Two seaside yurts were built while the main residence was under construction. Additionally, the home built by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw is a collection of eight “pavilions.” These are described as “pods” and are all connected by 5,000 square feet of covered verandas and passageways.

L’île d’Anges is an 80-minute flight from Miami, according to the listing.

So, if you have a cool $35 million hanging around somewhere, then you could possibly have your own private island. In the Bahamas, no less.

Hill Sings ‘I Can’t Do That Anymore’ at 1996 CMAs

Meanwhile, it’s always a nice trip down memory lane for either Faith Hill or Tim McGraw fans. This time, it’s Hill who is in the spotlight.

Take a look at Faith Hill‘s signature 1996 hairdo as she sings Alan Jackson‘s “I Can’t Do That Anymore.”

Fans know about Hill’s recording. But the song was written by Jackson himself. Incidentally, Alan Jackson never recorded the song himself.

“Anymore” is one of five hit singles from Hill’s 1996 album, “It Matters to Me.” Country fans catapulted the song to No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot Country charts for the remainder of the year through 1997. This alone cemented the song’s place as a ’90s country classic.

Faith Hill sang the song at the 30th Annual CMA Awards. Check out Hill’s performance and look back with fondness upon times gone by.
