Reba McEntire Calls Loretta Lynn Her ‘Hero,’ Can’t Contain Excitement for Upcoming Album

Pardon Reba McEntire for feeling giddy these days. She’s part of a new album from country music legend Loretta Lynn that’s being released.

McEntire shared her excitement with her Twitter followers on Monday. She wrote, “I am so proud to be part of my hero @LorettaLynn’s new album #StillWomanEnough available March 19th!” McEntire adds that people can pre-order Lynn’s album right now, too.

Carrie Underwood, Margo Price, and Tanya Tucker also join McEntire on Lynn’s album.

Lynn shared a short clip and some lyrics from her legendary “Coal Miner’s Daughter” song on Twitter.

Lynn, who is 88 years old, still is finding ways to entertain her legion of fans.

Reba McEntire Sees ‘Sadness, Happiness’ In 2020

Meanwhile, Reba McEntire took a little time out to review the events of 2020. She, like many other country music artists, had to either postpone or cancel concert dates because of COVID-19 precautions.

In a recent Instagram post, McEntire talks about some people that she lost from her life in 2020 as well as things learned in a rather unique year. She shares a photo collage of all her best and most challenging moments during 2020.

Earlier in 2020, McEntire released a new music video for her classic song “What If.”

Originally released in 1997, Reba McEntire said she felt compelled to re-release the song as an encouraging message of hope and positivity during difficult times.

“This song is as relevant today as it was 23 years ago,” McEntire said. “That’s the power of a great song…Even though we may not be able to physically reach out with just one hand right now, we can still be there for each other and take care of our neighbors, essential workers and medical professionals,” she said.

“Re-releasing this song and updated video with its message of care, hope and love felt like the right thing to do. Maybe we still can change things.”
