Everyone’s favorite redhead, Reba McEntire, is super pumped up about her appearance in tonight’s episode of Young Sheldon.

McEntire officially announced that she was returning to the hit CBS show yesterday in an Instagram post. The country music legend made sure to let her fans know that she was continuing with her role as June in Thursday night’s episode. She shared a photo of her in front of the makeup mirror, writing “June’s back!” on the mirror.

“June’s Back! Don’t miss her return to Young Sheldon Tomorrow night at 8/7c on CBS! #YoungSheldon,” she captioned her post.

Of course, her return isn’t all that surprising. We all had an idea June might be coming back when a makeup artist on the show shared a photo of him putting on McEntire’s makeup for the shoot. She also teased her character’s return shortly following that post.

Either way, it seems like McEntire and her fans alike are more excited than ever for her appearance in tonight’s episode. Reba took to Twitter this time to share just how hyped she is about the upcoming episode.

“Cant wait!!! #YoungSheldon,” McEntire wrote on Twitter.

Reba reposted a tweet from the official Young Sheldon Twitter account. In the video, she makes a case to fans with nothing to do tonight to watch the hit show.

“Hey, everyone! I’m Reba McEntire, trying to figure out something I can do tonight,” she says while sitting in her Young Sheldon cast chair. “Oh, I got it! I think I’ll watch myself on Young Sheldon! …. Why don’t y’all tune in and watch us?”

More of Reba McEntire to Come in Film, TV

As if her appearance in tonight’s episode of Young Sheldon wasn’t enough, we can expect to see a lot more of the red-headed country star this year. Along with her role as June, she will also be making appearances in several of works of art.

The first of those appearances to mention is that Reba McEntire is set to star in the reboot of the 1991 film Fried Green Tomatoes. McEntire is also a producer on the NBC show and will play Idgie Threadgoode. Mary Stuart Masterson played that character in the original movie.

Reba also recently made an appearance in the new Kristen Wiig comedy Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar. That appearance was a surprise to us all, as the producers kept her role in the film on the down-low until it was released.

“I’m not advertised as being in the movie, it’s been this secret,” McEntire told USA Today. “But afterward my friends were texting me saying, ‘I knew you were going to be Trish.’ That was the icing on the cake for me.” She joked, “I know you’re going to be surprised, but this is the first time I’ve ever played a sea spirit.”
