Karaoke Time with Russell Dickerson

During the times of COVID-19, boredom is sure to affect those stuck at home or unable to travel during the holidays.

Russell Dickerson is providing some musical relief by releasing his lyric video of “Never Get Old.” The song is available for personal listening entertainment. However, with the lyrics scrolling across the screen, the song is perfect for a group karaoke session, as well.

101.7 The Bull, a Boston radio station, replied to the tweet, saying “Karaoke versions can never come soon enough.”

Who is Russell Dickerson?

Russell Dickerson is a newcomer in the country music field, but he’s making his way to becoming a star within the genre.

“There is no better way to kick off a sophomore album than with a two-week #1,” says Dickerson. “Every song on this record is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written, and the fact that the fans feel that with ‘Love You Like I Used To’ means the world! Thank you Country radio!”

“I remember playing this song right after we had written it for my wife, Kailey, and some radio folks on the bus in Detroit,” Dickerson tells Billboard. “When we saw the look on their faces, we knew this song was special. Now I can’t believe we all get to celebrate our fourth No. 1 together.”

Climbing the Ladder in Country Music

The track is the first single from Dickerson’s sophomore studio LP, Southern Symphony, due Dec. 4.

Dickerson won his second consecutive week as being #1 on the MEDIABASE Country Singles chart with his track ‘Love You Like I Used To’.

The accomplishment sustains Dickerson’s fourth consecutive #1 single since his debut in 2017. It follows his songs, “Yours,” “Blue Tacoma” and “Every Little Thing.”
