Want a little fun for your Tuesday? Try a flirty Tik Tok video featuring Kelsea Ballerini and Shania Twain.
The clip is brief. It’s from Ballerini’s Instagram account. It’s only about five seconds. But it features the opening strains of Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.”
Ballerini opens the clip. She’s reclining in a chair. Ballerini is dressed in a denim jacket, dark leggings, and white cowboy boots. She’s holding her phone in one hand and as you hear the song start, she twists her ponytail. She smiles and pushes her phone towards the camera.
Poof. That’s when the clip flashes to Twain.
Twain looks to be dressed for a rain storm. She’s reclining on a chair. She’s wearing a hooded yellow rain coat, fish net stockings and knee-high studded boots. Twain then sings “Let’s Go Girls.” And that’s the video.
Kelsea Ballerini Is Dropping Hints About Something
Well, ok. What’s it all about?
If you follow Ballerini’s Instagram account, you’ve probably noticed she likes Twain. She’s dropping lots of clues about a possible collaboration. Or, she could be just a fan girl of Twain’s.
She’s been posting Twain’s lyrics and posing in outfits definitely inspired by Twain’s stunning, designer-wear look Twain popularized in her classic 1990s music videos.
But Tuesday’s video clip was different. Twain was in it, too. And Twain also shared the video clip with her followers, while tagging Ballerini.
Judging by their comments on social media, Ballerini’s fans are loving the possibility of a duet between the two.
Ballerini has talked of her relationship with Twain in past interviews.
Back in 2018, in an interview with SiriusXM, she talked of how Twain came to one of her shows.
“But Shania, she invited me to come sing with her at Stagecoach last year. And she came out to a show. She Ubered over,” she said. “I swear, Shania Twain Ubered over from Toronto, Canada. She sat in the sound booth. No ball cap, completely normal. Didn’t care that people were taking pictures of her. Came on my bus and took a pre-show shot with me. She’s the coolest.”
