It’s Valentine’s Day! And, people are in a celebratory mood! This includes country music icon Shania Twain.
The singer is helping spread the love this Valentine’s Day with funny cards. She posted these on her Twitter account early on Sunday (Feb. 14). “Happy Valentine’s Day,” Twain shared. “Tell the one how you really feel with these Valentines cards.”
Shania Twain References Songs on Valentine’s Day Cards
Shania Twain shared four Valentine’s Day cards. Each has a picture of her with lyrics from one of her songs. Here’s one of them:
This card references Twain’s song “That Don’t Impress Me Much.” It’s a track that pokes fun at men who think way too highly of themselves. The Canadian star gives a confident vocal performance on the track and is very sassily clad in full leopard print in the video, which can be seen on the card.
“So you got the brains, but have you got the touch / Now don’t get me wrong, I think you’re alright / But that won’t keep me warm in the middle of the night / That don’t impress me much,” Twain sings in this hit song.
Here is another of the cards Twain shared via Twitter.
This card references Twain’s song “I’m Gonna Getcha Good.” It was a top 10 hit in 14 different countries during 2002.
“Don’t wantcha for the weekend, don’t wantcha for a night / I’m only interested if I can have you for life / I know I sound serious and baby I am / You’re a fine piece of real estate, and I’m gonna get me some land,” Twain sings.
The third card looks like this:
This pays homage to Shania Twain’s song, “You Win My Love.” Some the lyrics are: “I’m lookin’ for a lover / Who can rev his little engine up / He can have a ’55 Chevy / Or a fancy little pick-up truck / He’s got a cool Cadillac.”
The final card is this one:
This card references Shania Twain’s song “Party for Two,” featuring Billy Currington. Lyrics for this track include: It doesn’t matter what you wear / ‘Cause it’s only gonna be / You and me there (Whoa!)”
