In the wake of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s engagement, Shania Twain has a message for the happy couple and their upcoming wedding.

Blake Shelton popped the question to Gwen Stefani in October of 2020, after a lengthy quarantine at his Oklahoma ranch. The two have been dating for about five years, so the question is long overdue in many fans’ minds.

Shelton and Stefani have continuously been vague about the exact wedding date but say they want it to be in 2021. After speaking to the Today show, Shelton expressed that he would like a summer wedding as opposed to a fall one. Due to the couple’s star status, many celebrities hope to get an invitation to the A-list event.

Receiving an invitation is basically equivalent to finding one of Willy Wonka’s Golden Tickets.

Shania Twain is one celebrity that has been open about hoping for an invitation. While speaking on Home Now Radio on Apple Music, Twain said even if she doesn’t get invited, she hopes the best for the couple.

“When you set your wedding date, let me know. Even if I’m not invited, I’ll be thinking of you,” Twain stated. “I’ll be sending good thoughts your way.”

Shania Twain Is #TeamBen (Blake and Gwen)

Since Stefani is seven years older than her fiancée, many fans did not support the relationship when they first began dating. Shania Twain isn’t one of these haters. She says she had supported Stefani and Shelton from the start.

“Two sweet, adorable, friendly, talented people. They belong together. I hope they stay married forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.”

And ever.

However, Shania Twain does have thoughts about making music together. The “Any Man of Mine” singer notes that she co-wrote many songs with her now-ex husband, Mutt Lange.

“I have experience with this theme, couples making music together,” she explained. “Now I’ve made a ton of songs with my ex-husband. We co-wrote everything together while we were married for 14 years.”

Twain notes that she has no ill feelings toward Lange or the music they created together. On the other hand, she hopes the songs will “live on forever.”

As do we. The hits are timeless! But on a real note, Blake, Gwen, if we could be seated next to Shania at the wedding, that would be great. We are kind of a big fans.
