While Halloween has yet to pass by us, the Pistol Annies and Miranda Lambert are set to release their latest Christmas album. That’s right, it’s time for some jolly good cheer.

Some folks can’t stand how early the Christmas season seems to start every year. How can everyone just forget Thanksgiving between Oct 31 and Dec 25? The forgotten holiday, despite November having the best fall weather. However, that’s beside the point. We’ll take new Pistol Annies however we can get it!

Ashley Monroe, Angaleena Presley, and of course Miranda Lambert make up the country music trio. One of the best women groups in country music. They have released a few albums over the years. This Christmas album marks the band’s first release since 2018. It should be a good one. Hopefully, we see a mix of classics and original songs.

Country music artists and Christmas albums go together like peanut butter and jelly. My personal favorite has to be Willie Nelson’s, Pretty Paper. They are just such nostalgic and fun projects. This latest from Pistol Annies should be well worth the listen. If you find yourself awake at midnight, play some Holiday tunes to start your Friday.

The group has already released a song from their upcoming album. Snow Globe was released at the end of September and is a good Christmas song. A little snow, a little love, and a modern Christmas song sound that doesn’t sound too new. Give that a listen while you wait. These ladies are always going to bring a great sound. Miranda Lambert and company will be on your radios plenty this fall and winter.

Miranda Lambert is Full of Surprises

The Entertainer of the Year nominee is full of great surprises. Miranda Lambert seems to always be working. That’s why she is so successful and finds herself with so many award nominations each year. Recently, she decided to pay a visit to a Nashville bar and give them a rendition of Merle Haggard’s Silver Wings. Talk about some lucky folks.

There is no telling what might happen if you find yourself in Nashville on any given night. Country music artists have been making surprise appearances for decades. Lambert paid a visit to the Station Inn. In front of a small, intimate crowd the singer gave patrons something to be happy about that night.

Seriously, what gets better than seeing Miranda Lambert drop a surprise Merle Haggard cover after a few beers out in Nashville? That’s what makes Music City so special. If you know where to go, there is no telling what might happen right in front of your own face. Folks didn’t even have to pay a cover charge, I bet!
