Attention, attention Tanya Tucker fans! There is some bad news for those of you planning to see the “Delta Dawn” singer live in the coming weeks of August 2021.

Unfortunately, the 62-year-old country music star has canceled some concert dates set for the early weeks of August 2021, according to Taste of Country. She reportedly did so due to issues arising from her recent emergency hip replacement surgery.

Tanya Tucker shared the news via social media on Wednesday, Aug. 4. In her Instagram post, she said she chose to cancel or postpone upcoming concert dates after listening to the advice of medical professionals.

“The doctors want me to rest a few more weeks before we get back on the road,” Tucker said.

The “Two Sparrows In a Hurricane” singer also gave her fans and followers an update on how she is recovering from her hip surgery. That medical procedure took place during the middle of July. Tucker said she is ready to resume her tour and vows that she will be back.

“I want you to know every day I feel stronger, better and ready to kick some a**, we’ll see y’all real soon, I PROMISE!” Tanya Tucker said via Instagram.

She also expressed her appreciation for all of the well-wishes she has received in recent weeks.

“I’m just overwhelmed by all the flowers, love and support since I had hip surgery,” Tucker also said.

Here are the Dates, Locations for Tanya Tucker’s Canceled or Rescheduled Concerts

On July 15, Tanya Tucker shared the news of her hip surgery with fans. In this Instagram post, she said a fracture was found in one of her hips that had been giving her “h***” for some time. She also said that surgery took place “right away” and that she expected to have a “speedy recovery.”

So, which tour dates have Tanya Tucker canceled, and which dates have been rescheduled?

According to Wednesday, Instagram post the country music singer has canceled her show at the Hinterland Music Festival in St. Charles, Iowa. This show was scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 7.

Tucker has also canceled her performance on Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

Tanya Tucker’s rescheduled dates include her Wednesday, Aug. 11, show at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan. That tour stop will now take place on Thursday, Nov. 4. Also, Tucker’s performance at the Hart Theatre at The Egg in Albany, New York, which was originally scheduled for Friday, Aug. 13, is now set for Sunday, Nov. 7.

She is expected to tour for much of the rest of 2021. Also, she is also supposed to be part of the Girls Just Wanna Weekend music vacation led by Brandi Carlile during 2022 in Mexico.
