Taylor Swift has once again left her fans with a secret message for them to decode. Spoiler alert: she may be getting help from a famous friend on upcoming new music.

Whether it’s an Instagram post or a single spoken word, Taylor Swift fans are always quick to take it as a release date or a hint of something in the future. But it isn’t a bad habit to get into. Swift has a passion for making her fans get to work and always keeps them guessing. After releasing “Folklore” and “Evermore” back-to-back in the same year it’s crazy to think she can have more to offer.

Taylor Swift is in the midst of recording “Taylor’s Version” of her older songs and albums. The singer is rerecording her catalog in order to regain artistic and financial control over her music. Her former record label sold her music for about $300 million without her consent. It’s all part of her battle with Big Machine Records and music manager Scooter Braun.

Taylor Swift Hypes Keith Urban

On April 2, Swift tweeted, “The vault door is about to be as unhinged as you’ll think I am after you watch this video. Level: Expert. Happy decoding!”

The video in the tweet flashes a series of scrambled words that fans then have to unscramble into the real words. After that, fans must determine what all the words mean together. Luckily, other people on the internet have been working tirelessly to get to the bottom of this encoded musical message. As one person wrote in response, “Taylor babes I haven’t the brain cells for this.”

The message features the different song titles that will be dropped this Friday. They include “You All Over Me” feat. Maren Morris,” “Bye Bye Baby,” “We Were Happy,” Don’t You,” and “That’s When.” Keith Urban will definitely be featured on one of the songs but it’s unclear which one.

Some fans think he will appear on “Bye Bye Baby” since the original has a male vocalist in the background vocals.

More on Upcoming Release

According to Entertainment Tonight, these six songs were originally “held back” from her 2008 “Fearless” album. They will now be featured to give people the “full picture” of that album.

Popular country artists Keith Urban and Maren Morris will be joining Swift for this release. Urban’s most recent album is called “The Speed of Now” from 2020. Taylor Swift was once featured on the Tim McGraw song “Highway Don’t Care” in 2013. Keith Urban played the guitar on the track. Urban also released his own cover of Swift’s song “Lover.”

The re-release of “Fearless” is also Swift reappearing alongside country artists for the first time in awhile.

On April 9, Swift will release all of “Fearless (Taylor’s Version).” This includes popular songs like “Fearless,” “You Belong With Me,” and “White Horse.” She has already recorded and released “Love Story,” which also appears on the “Fearless” album.

This will be the first of five albums she is re-recording. Taylor Swift, as is normal, is hard at work.
