Ever wanted to photobomb Usher? Kelly Clarkson beat you to it and has the photo with the musician to prove it from this season of THE VOICE.
Few shows have proven the same lasting power The Voice has. While originally seen as an ‘American Idol’ knock-off, the show has risen to far surpass Idol in popularity and ratings. This is, in large part, due to the presence of the coaches. The Voice went out of its way to enlist A-list talent for their judges and continues to today.
While the hosts have changed a lot over the years, newcomers like Kelly Clarkson and Usher both bring undeniable star power to the proceedings. Both play very well off of veteran and only-remaining original host Blake Shelton, as well.
It’s not just Shelton that Clarkson’s palling around with, however. Posting to her Twitter today, the country & pop star shows off her best photobomb – and it comes at the expense of none other than Usher himself.
The hysterical photo was taken during The Voice — “Knockout Reality” Episode 1909. In layman’s terms, that’s Episode 9 of season 19 of the immensely popular show.
Kelly Clarkson Loves Her Fellow Voice Hosts
Fans who follow Kelly will know she’s quite the prankster on a regular basis, as well. In addition to photobombing Usher, she got Blake Shelton on her talk show just to make fun of him for doing beauty pageants as a child. It was glorious.
On the aforementioned edition of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson hits Blake Shelton fans with a bombshell. The fantastic revelation comes as she asks Shelton to relive his first-ever performances.
In a preview of the show via ET Canada, Shelton reveals it was all his mother’s fault. “My mother would enter me into pageants. Yes… those kinda’ pageants.” She did it “so I could sing in the talent portion. But then you would also have to do the evening wear…” Shelton smirks.
Clarkson, however, knew this all along. “I knew you were gonna answer with this,” she laughs. “And I just want to hear you talk about pageants.”
“You’re such an a**hole,” Shelton replies with a smile.
The two THE VOICE coaches have excellent chemistry on and off the show, it seems. For more from them both, you can watch their interview together here.
