Thomas Rhett is “taking a moment to celebrate” with fans on Instagram after “What’s Your Country Song?” proves his biggest debut ever.

“Good day to celebrate!!” the country star starts off on Instagram. Thomas Rhett is one of the biggest names in country music, and he’s not slowing down any time soon.

According to the man himself on his official Instagram account, Rhett’s latest single, “‘What’s Your Country Song?’ [is the] most added song I’ve ever had. Right at 150 stations put it in their rotation,” the star says with a huge smile. This is an enormous debut, as typically around half that number of stations pick up a track at release.

“I just wanna say thank you – thank you – thank you!” Rhett continues in the personal video. He then adds that the song is also the biggest debut I’ve ever had as a country music artist.”

“What a huge thing to celebrate, and I’m really here to celebrate you guys [the fans]. ‘Cause, well, thanks for digging the music!” he adds.

Thomas Rhett Has Another Huge Hit on His Hands

“This is the first song off my favorite record I’ve ever made,” Rhett clarifies of his latest album. “We don’t have a date for when it will release yet, but when it does, I think you guys are really gonna enjoy it.”

According to Outsider.com’s Matthew Wilson, “Thomas Rhett’s new single “What’s Your Country Song” celebrates country music’s storied history. The song is loaded with references to other country singers both past and present.

“From Alan Jackson to Hank Williams to Alabama, Rhett references several famous artists and their most popular hits. He includes song titles as lyrics in the song.”
