Thomas Rhett Announces Two New Albums on the Way in 2022

Thomas Rhett fans can rejoice, we have two new albums coming in the new year!

On Thursday, November 4, the country crooner revealed in a video posted to social media his upcoming plans. Firstly, he has a brand new song “Slow Down Summer” dropping at midnight, TONIGHT! Rhett noted that a lot of people have been asking him if the tune will be on his Side B record.

“So I’m going to give you the scoop on that,” he began. “So last year and this year on the road me and my team have been writing so many songs. What we’ve decided to do is to put out two albums next year which is going to be awesome.”

So that means that “Slow Down Summer” is the first official single off of his upcoming new project called Where We Started. He promised that it will come out in early 2022. Country Again Side B will debut in Fall 2022.

“I’m so pumped. I cannot wait for y’all to hear these new songs and I cannot wait to play them for you live on the road next year. But until then, y’all get excited. Tell your friends, tell your parents, tell your dogs, tell anybody.”

Thomas Rhett on Growing His Family

Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren have three kiddos. Their daughters Willa Gray, 6, Ada James, 4, and Lennon Love, who is just 20 months, are their world. Rhett announced that they were expecting their fourth daughter this past Mother’s Day. Some fans questioned if the couple would continue to expand their family after their fourth child.

People reported that during an Instagram Q&A, he answered the question if they would have more children. “Probably! Haha,” he simply responded.

Thomas and Lauren told the outlet that they were on a ski trip in Telluride, Colorado with a group of friends when they discovered that they were expecting baby number four. Lauren was on a ski lift when she began feeling nauseous while Rhett assured her that it was because one of several reasons.

He threw out several reasons why she might be feeling a little under the weather. For one, Lauren apparently had a pretty serious sunburn on her face. So, Rhett said Lauren might have sun poisoning. Despite that, Lauren said that she felt a “different” kind of sick.

Rhett joked that she was pregnant but she said that there was “no way” that it could be. Rhett recalled telling her, “Well, there’s definitely a way,” with a chuckle. They got a pregnancy test and sure enough, she was pregnant.
