Audrey McGraw, the daughter of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, is doing some sentimental social media musing this weekend.
Her Sunday post to Instagram was all about the place she “misses the most.” (Admit it, this sounds like the opening line of a country song.) Audrey grouped a collection of Polaroid snapshots into a giant gallery. She posted them with the caption: “Moments from the place I miss the most xx ” McGraw gave the location as Exuma, The Bahamas.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Built a Family Retreat in Bahamas
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill fans may make the immediate connection. Back in 2003, Audrey’s parents bought Goat Cay, a tiny island in the Bahamas. They renamed it L’île d’Anges, which translates to Angels Island. In this case, island is a loose term. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill bought 20 acres of uninhabited, undeveloped land in the middle of the Exuma chain of 365 islands. They built a family getaway on the island, which is about 300 miles east of Miami.
“Every time we land the plane and walk on to the beach up to the house, we turn to each other and say “This is the best place in the world,” Tim McGraw told Architectural Digest. The magazine did a cover story on the island home four years ago.
And Tim McGraw probably wasn’t exaggerating. The country singing super couple built a 6,517-square-foot main house, which is divided into eight pods and connected by verandas and breezeways. Each of the four bedrooms suites is a pod. There also is a main owner’s suite. Toss in two private beaches and a pool, you can see why the Tim McGraw family considers this heaven on earth.
Faith Hill told Architectural Digest “We set out to build a house. We had no idea we had to build everything else. We basically had to build a little town.”
Audrey probably is feeling sentimental because her parents put up the island for sale earlier this year. The asking price is $35 million.
Audrey McGraw Starred in Dad’s Music Video Released This Month
Otherwise, Audrey is enjoying a terrific August. She starred in her dad’s new music video, 7500 OBO. Tim McGraw released the video, Aug. 13.
“You know, my girls are the light of my life,” Tim McGraw said in a video clip on Instagram to discuss 7500 OBO. “They’re the sweetest things in the world and I was just so proud of her.
“The idea was pretty cool because when it came in…instead of it being about a guy and his truck, we made it about a teenage girl and her truck,” Tim McGraw said.
Audrey had a kissing scene in the video. And Tim McGraw couldn’t help being an over-protective dad.
“It’s not easy for a dad to watch, I can tell you that,” McGraw said in another social media post. “I’m not going to beat him up. I guess I’ll let him slide on this one.”
