Tim McGraw teased the country music world with a tweet Monday afternoon.

He started February by posting a photo of a microphone in a recording studio. All he wrote was “gettin some work done. #newmusic.”

Hmm, wonder what Tim McGraw is doing?

Tim McGraw’s most recent work included Tyler Hubbard, who is on a break from Florida-Georgia line. The two released “Undivided” last month and it rocked the country world.

In the week after the song was released, 152 radio stations added it to their airplay rotations. That topped the week. And, it also broke a record for the best week ever in Mediabase/Country Aircheck history.

McGraw and Hubbard did lots of press for the song’s debut. And, it got a huge boost on the night of President Joe Biden’s inauguration. McGraw and Hubbard sang it live from Nashville as part of “the Celebrating America” special.

The show featured some of the biggest stars across all musical genres. McGraw and Hubbard were the country acts. The special drew an audience of more than 24 million, playing on all major networks.

However, the song was Hubbard’s project. He wrote it in November as he quarantined on the tour bus parked in his driveway. Once he finished the song, Hubbard said he messaged McGraw. And the two quickly went to work.

Tim McGraw Released Last Album In August

So what could Tim McGraw be talking about?

The song “Undivided” will be included on a deluxe release of McGraw’s last album, “Here on Earth.” He’s about to celebrate his one-year anniversary with Big Machine Records. Well, it’s an anniversary of his renewal with the record company. McGraw also was with the label from 2011-17.

“Here On Earth” was released last August. McGraw had teased his new work for two years. And it premiered at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Albums list. It was McGraw’s 16th studio album. “I Called Mama” was the first single off the album. McGraw released it last May in conjunction with Mother’s Day. The song reached No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot Country chart and No. 2 for radio airplay. The music video featured Betty Trimble, Tim McGraw’s mother, and Faith Hill, McGraw’s wife and mother of his three daughters.

“Here On Earth” was released as a promotional single last July. “Undivided” is also a single from the album.

After McGraw’s Monday afternoon tweet, his fans quickly responded. Gracie McGraw, Tim’s oldest daughter, retweeted her dad.

One fan wrote: “You are always so busy. How long until we see what you are up to? You never disappoint!!”

Another wrote: “Awesome. I can’t wait until you put out more new songs about life.”
