Country music singer-songwriter Toby Keith is doing his best to help fans fill out their Christmas lists in a year that’s been pretty wild.
Keith reached out to his social media followers and, while asking what’s at the top of their lists, suggests they watch their messages, too.
In this tweet, Keith includes a video where he posts what’s on his own list for 2021.
Talk about “making a list and checking it twice.”
Keith’s fans might just want to do that before putting out their picks through messages to him.
Toby Keith Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut In 2002
In looking back upon Keith’s career, any country music performer who makes it on the Grand Ole Opry stage will remember it quite well.
Keith made his Opry debut on Dec. 14, 2002. He spoke with The Boot and recalls the performance from 18 years ago to the day.
“The Opry is the most prestigious historical music-related event in all of country music,” Toby Keith said. “I don’t live in Tennessee, and it’s always been difficult for me to make the arrangements to perform on that grand stage. But it doesn’t keep me from listening almost ritualistically to it.”
Keith’s first Opry performance took place at the Ryman Auditorium, where he was joined by fellow country stars Trace Adkins and Keith Urban.
Keith’s Classic Videos Receive High-Definition Touch
Meanwhile, back in July, an effort by YouTube and Universal Music Group brought Toby Keith fans remastered iconic music videos.
“American Soldier,” one of Keith’s No. 1 hits, was a salute to the men and women in the United States armed forces. The revamped version was released on July 3. Three additional new and high-def version videos were released on July 10, led by “As Good As I Once Was.”
Let’s take a look at the remastered video version of “American Soldier.”
