When a tiny fawn appeared out of nowhere while Travis Tritt enjoyed his morning coffee, he took to Instagram to share the special moment with fans.

The caption says it all: “This little guy was hanging with me while I had my morning coffee today. My wife named him Oakley. So cute!”

Comments on the post ranged from heart emojis and praise to mentions of those excited to see Travis live on his upcoming tour. Other comments voiced concern for the fawn’s missing mother, but fans should not worry. This is not Travis Tritt’s first rodeo with deer.

Throwback to Travis Tritt’s Wife Reuniting With Orphaned Deer She Bottle-fed

Travis Tritt’s wife, Theresa, has a special place in her heart for rehabilitating deer. On Tritt’s most recent post, in response to the concerns voiced about the fawn’s mother, Theresa commented: “hey I’m travis’ wife, people bring me orphaned or injured deer to rehabilitate, I have been doing it for over 20 years.”

Fans may also remember back in 2019, when she stumbled upon an orphaned deer and decided to bottle-feed it until it was healthy enough to return to the forest on its own. Later, the duo reunited in this sweet clip from Travis’ Twitter:

Tritt Issues Statement Regarding World Events

Shortly after posting about his fawn encounter this morning, Tritt took to Twitter to comment on the current climate overseas. Travis made his support for the troops known in a heartfelt post.

He has been a long-time supporter of veterans throughout the entirety of his career. In fact, the US Department of Veteran Affairs has presented Tritt with multiple awards over the years for his continued dedication, support, and advocacy.

Tritt stays humble: “It’s a great honor to visit the men and women who wore the uniform and sacrificed to defend our freedom and way of life…Veterans deserve our unfailing respect and attention for the sacrifices they have made.”

He may be a GRAMMY award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician, as well as a multi-platinum recording artist, but at the end of the day, fans love Travis because he stays grounded and true to himself.
