Today, legendary country artist Travis Tritt and his wife Theresa celebrate their anniversary with a loving social media post.

Because it’s not a celebration unless someone makes a social media post about it!

Travis Tritt and his beautiful wife, Theresa, celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary with a touching post on Twitter. The couple embraces in a typical “prom pose” with Tritt’s arms wrapped around his wife’s waist. They stand in front of a large fireplace.

Tritt gushes about his “soulmate,” highlighting all their wonderful accomplishments over the years.

“Twenty four years ago today, I married my beautiful soulmate! I’m so proud of the life we made together, the family we raised, and the extraordinary love we’ve shared. Happy Anniversary, Theresa!”

Travis Tritt and Theresa Nelson have been married since 1997, even though the artist swore off marriage after his two previous failures. He notes the secret to a happy and blissful marriage is to just “let love find you.”

They have three children together. They include their 23-year-old daughter, Tyler Reese, 21-year-old son, Tristan James, and 17-year-old son Tarian Nathaniel.

Travis Tritt and Theresa Timeline

Earlier today, Outsider reported on the adorable couple’s love story.

Travis Tritt was just starting to take off in his music career when he attended an event with his friend Marty Stuart. It was here that Theresa Nelson stood out from the rest of the crowd. She was a college student in Nashville at the time and also working as a model. However, what won Tritt over was her personality.

“I saw a sincere sweetness in her that stuck out from all the women I had ever met,” Tritt recalled in an article from 2000 with Country Weekly.

Tritt got Nelson’s number and started to call her, progressing their relationship further. Eventually, they began to spend time together, which lead to spending all their free time together.

“When you first meet somebody, and you’re falling in love with them, if you’re like me, you want to spend every waking moment of your day with her, get to know her as much as you possibly can,” Tritt explained in a 1996 interview with the Chicago Tribune. “We were able to do that for about the first three or four months we were together.”

Travis Tritt really laid on the charm and wrote the song “More Than You’ll Ever Know” for Theresa while the two were dating long distance. Although being apart was challenging, the two made it work, and look, 24 blissful years later, and they are still setting the standards for relationship goals.
