CMT’s “Campfire Sessions” has become a popular stop for country’s hottest stars, from Trisha Yearwood to Keb’ Mo’. The series offers country music’s finest a chance to perform acoustic shows in a down-home setting.
And now Trisha Yearwood, Lady A, Miranda Lambert and others are joining “Campfire Sessions” for a special show. It’s an hour-long episode of the series airing tonight. So nine musicians will have a chance to perform songs around the campfire.
For example, the Brothers Osborne will cover Willie Nelson. Lady A will perform Fleetwood Mac favorites. Keb’ Mo’ will give their interpretation of Bill Withers. Plus Kane Brown will put his own spin on Blake Shelton.

Meanwhile, in a statement, Margaret Comeaux, executive producer and vice president of production at CMT, celebrated the opportunity to record the “Campfire Sessions” episodes that are currently airing through July 22.
“It was an incredible feeling to have our Production team back together on-set and get to witness the magic of live music – something all of us have been desperately missing this past year,” she said. Moreover, “CMT Campfire Sessions’ is filled with performances that reignite our love of live music. From world-class troubadours Jack [Ingram], Miranda [Lambert] and Jon [Randall] sharing stories of their creative process to Kane [Brown] and friends effortlessly entertaining with a laid-back, good time vibe, fans have a front row seat to their favorite artists and amazing music.”
During the hour-long episode that airs tonight, the Brothers Osborne will perform “On the Road Again.” Lady A will perform “Landslide.” Kane Brown will perform “Ol’ Red.” Miranda Lambert, Jack Ingram and Jon Randall will perform “Up Against a Wall Redneck Mother.” Keb’ Mo’ will perform “Lean on Me.” Kelsea Ballerini will perform “Dreams.” And Trisha Yearwood will perform “When Will I Be Loved.”
The episode airs at 9 p.m. ET on CMT.
What’s more, CMT’s “Campfire Sessions” draws its inspiration by the CMT Digital series of the same name. It showcases artists playing their hit songs beside a campfire underneath a starry sky.
Every Thursday, starting on June 10, hit artists have appeared on “Campfire Sessions” to offer a special campfire performance. Moreover, the one-hour special today is devoted exclusively to covers.
