Trisha Yearwood burst onto the country music scene thirty years ago. Her debut single “She’s In Love with the Boy” hit the top of the charts back in 1991. Then, she remained a driving female force in country music for the rest of the decade. She also has a long-running connection to amazing Grand Ole Opry moments. For instance, she inducted Carly Pearce into the Grand Ole Opry. More recently, she and Garth closed out the Opry’s 5,000th Saturday night celebration. In short, Trisha knows good music when she hears it.

Earlier today, Trisha Yearwood revealed that she and Garth Brooks went to see Kevin Costner’s band Modern West in Nashville, Indiana. Costner has two massive things going for him right now. He’s currently on tour with his band. Additionally, he stars as John Dutton in our favorite modern western Yellowstone. While on stage, Costner blends the two. He adds references to the hit show into his concerts. For fans of good music and great TV, it’s a perfect mixture.

From the photo, it looks like Trisha Yearwood is a fan of both Costner and Yellowstone. He’s sporting a camo trucker hat with the show’s logo and the brand of the Dutton Ranch. In the post’s caption, she seems to thank both Garth Brooks and Modern West for a great time. Additionally, she used the hashtag “#DateNight” in the post. Going to see Costner’s band play sounds like the perfect couple’s outing to us.

Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks are Couple Goals

I’m not just saying that because Garth took her to see Kevin Costner’s band, either. Obviously, that doesn’t hurt. However, awesome date nights are just icing on the cake.

Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks tied the knot in 2005 and have looked like a happy couple ever since. Recently, Trisha shared the secret to their marriage’s longevity and strength. It’s a strong foundation of friendship. Before the power couple became romantically involved, they were friends. They got to know one another without any of the pretenses of dating. As a result, Garth and Trisha know each other very well. In an interview with Taste of Country, Yearwood said, “…we were friends for a long time, we were friends — we were buddies — and you’ll tell your friends stuff that you would never tell a guy you’re dating, right?”

Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks knew each other inside and out, warts and all before they tied the knot. Ask any married couple and they’ll tell you that they learn more about their partner all the time. That intimate knowledge has kept Yearwood and Brooks strong over the years. The spotlight might make marriage a little tough from time to time, but it’s obvious that she’s in love with the boy.
