In the video, Vince Gill sings alongside his daughter, Corrina, who is 20-years-old. She is playing the piano while her dad sings the song. Corrina plays incredibly well and deserves praise for being able to hold her own next to her father. After the two finish singing the song, they hold hands and bow to the audience.

In the Facebook post, Vince Gill talks about how special of a moment winning the Grammy was for him. He also talks about how much “When My Amy Prays” is to him. In the caption of the post, he also talks about how much he appreciates his fans.

“No matter where someone is in their career, they just want to be heard. So I am very honored to have been chosen for this Grammy, particularly for this song.”

The statement certainly shows how much the award means to the country singer. Additionally, at this point, he is a bonafide country music star, and this award backs that up.

It is extra special that Vince Gill got to perform the song with his daughter. The song’s lyrics give a brief glimpse into the relationship the two have together.
