Pop star Gwen Stefani released the music video for her brand new, original song, “Here This Christmas.”
She also posted a brief behind the scenes video to her Twitter. The song was written by One Republic’s Ryan Tedder and his bandmate, Kutzle. The Hallmark Channel will feature “Here This Christmas” as the theme song for this year’s “Countdown to Christmas.”
The song will drop on all streaming platforms on Friday, but the music video was released to YouTube today. Ryan Tedder was responsible for all of the production on the song, as well as Stefani’s rendition of the classic Christmas song, “Sleigh Bells.” Stefani added the new songs to her 2017 Christmas album, “You Make it Feel Like Christmas.” This is the second time the album has been reissued, the first in 2018.
“Grateful to have worked with Ryan Tedder on this one,” she remarked in another tweet.
The two teamed up in the past with Stefani’s hit single “Baby Don’t Lie,” which was released in 2014. Tedder was also responsible for writing and producing that song.
Hallmark’s ‘Countdown to Christmas’
If you are a sucker for ugly Christmas sweaters and movies with eerily similar titles and covers, tune in to Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas” event. In this event, Hallmark will air 40 brand new Christmas movies starting a few weeks ago on October 24 with “Jingle Bell Bride.”
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton
At this year’s CMT Awards, Gwen Stefani and her husband Blake Shelton took home the prize for Best Collaboration Video. The pair won with their heartwarming “Nobody But You,” released in January of this year. The adorable couple met on the set of NBC’s show The Voice five years ago and later engaged. This star-crossed relationship became possible after Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert‘s divorce and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s divorce.
After performing a duet of Drake’s hit song “Hotline Bling” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, their relationship started to take form. Since then, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have done a lot together, including music. From their duets on The Voice to their heartfelt singles, the couple is a match made in heaven. They have released several songs together, including “You Make It Feel Like Christmas,” and “Nobody But You.”
