We’re ready for a Jon Pardi, Riley Green, and Chris Janson supergroup!

The trio performed during CBS’ Nashville New Year’s Eve Big Bash celebration. The artists took the stage at The Skydeck on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee to give fans a one-of-a-kind collaboration. They gave an original rendition of Dwight Yoakam’s classic “Honky Tonk Man.”

The supergroup also covered Hank Williams Jr.’s song “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight.” Things got rowdy and the crowd went nuts for it. Jon Pardi, Chris Janson, and Riley Green also performed their current singles during the live broadcast, kicking off 2022 with a bang!

“Honky Tonk Man” was originally written and recorded by Johnny Horton. Yoakam got the rights and released it as his debut single back in 1986 and was later featured on his Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. record. We’re ready for a supergroup of these three and maybe even Yoakam too!

Watch the epic performance, below.

Jon Pardi’s Secret Hangover Cure

Jon Pardi has a philosophy to stop hangovers after a big night out, especially for New Year’s Eve.

“My hangover cure is Bloody Marys,” he revealed to his record label. “But be careful – because once you have a couple, don’t go to beer, because if you go to beer, you’re gonna start drinking again and you’ll end up a morning drunk. OR if you want to go the non-alcoholic route, there’s nothing you can do for hangovers. [laughs] You just go deal with it.”

As for New Year’s resolutions, Jon Pardi is just ready for new music to be released. He’s been quite busy after touring pretty consistently over the second half of this past year.

“What I’m looking forward to the most for 2022 is a brand new album,” he shared. “We haven’t had no time to work on it because I’ve (only) been home about two or three days for the past three months, it seems like, and I haven’t been writing. I’ve been doing nothing but touring. So, I’m gonna get some songwriting in and finish this album.”

Aside from performing on CBS’ New Year’s Eve broadcast, Jon Pardi had his very own New Year’s Day radio show celebration. He hosted a radio Tequila Little Time party on New Year’s Day through 101.3 WMCI. Fellow country heavyweights Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Gary Allan, Little Big Town, and Darius Rucker also took part.
