Watch: Lauren Alaina Celebrates ‘One Beer’ Going No. 1 by Dressing Up as a ‘Beer Drinking One Beer’

On Tuesday, country singer Lauren Alaina celebrated her hit single “One Beer” reaching No. 1 on the charts by hilariously dressing up as a bottle of beer.

The song has steadily risen on Billboard‘s Country Airplay charts since its original release in September of 2019. Over a year later, the song – by Hardy featuring Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson – has topped the country charts. Additionally, Alaina earned her third number-one single, and fellow country artist Hardy and Dawson earned their first number one song of their careers.

Alaina posted a short TikTok video to her official Twitter account where she danced along to her new number one single. In addition, she drank a beer, which is more than appropriate considering the song. However, the video got even better when she abruptly changed from her normal clothes to a costume of a bottle of beer. Thus, she became a beer while drinking “One Beer.”

The singer’s TikTok video said, “Ain’t it funny what #OneBeer can turn into!” Below the caption, she added multiple beer and trophy emojis.

Furthermore, Alaina added another caption to her Twitter post celebrating the hit single’s No. 1 status.

“Celebrating a Number One Beer as One Beer drinking One Beer @HardyMusic @zdevin #OneBeer,” she tweeted.

Alaina and Hardy Share Their Excitement For Their No. 1 Song

On Monday, Alaina received the official news that “One Beer’ had climbed to the number one song on Billboard’s country charts.

The singer shared her excitement with fans and said it’s extra special since the song is Hardy and Dawson’s first number one hit.

“You know what’s better than one beer? A NUMBER ONE beer. I officially have my third number one song in country music. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. This number one is extra special because it is @hardymusic and @zdevin’s first number one. Cheers y’all,” Alaina tweeted.

“One Beer” is Hardy’s second chart appearance, after “Rednecker” climbed to No. 26 on the country charts in April 2019. On Tuesday, he spoke with Billboard and said how special the honor is to him. He also mentioned he’d be drinking more than “one beer” later in the evening.

“This No. 1 is definitely the most special to me,” Hardy told Billboard. “It takes a lot of work for a young artist to take a song to the top, between that artist and his radio team. So, from the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you and that I’m very excited for this achievement. I’ll definitely be drinking more than ‘one beer’ tonight.”
