Luke Combs’ Debuts New Song ‘See Me Now’

Luke Combs released a touching song entitled “See Me Now” that will be on his third record. The track was co-written by Combs along with Ray Fulcher, James McNair, and Kenton Bryant. The country music artist began recording his new untitled album on March 3. He took to Twitter on March 22 telling fans that “album 3 is gonna be real good”.

The talented vocal powerhouse delivers an original country music sound with his deep voice and southern drawl. His lyrics tell a relatable story of wishing someone who he had always wanted to make proud could “see him now”. Combs sings emotional lines, including part of the chorus that delves deep into listeners’ hearts.

“And I could tell you all about all the life that I’ve been living/ I like to think you’d be the proudest guy in town/ if I could see you see me now.”

Putting Bluegrass Record On Hold For Album No. 3

In February, Luke Combs’ posted a video message to fans. He also teased fans about working on a new bluegrass album. However, it has been “put on pause” in order to work on his newest record. Combs states that “album three is up next”. However, he is still using one of the songs that was intended to be on the bluegrass album.

In the same video he posted to Instagram in February, Luke Combs explains how he will still be releasing one of his newest songs is called “The Great Divide”. He teamed up with Billy Strings and Wyatt Durrette to write the track in June of last year. As the bluegrass album has now been put on hold with Combs’ writing, “I’m officially kind of gearing up for my next full album”, he reveals that “The Great Divide” was still released.

“Wrote it with my buddies Billy and @wyatt.durrette in June of last year. It was originally intended to be on a bluegrass album that I was working on, but that has been put on pause for now and album 3 is up next,” writes Luke Combs. He also explains, “Since it was meant to be on my bluegrass album, it will sound a little different than what y’all are used to hearing from me.” However, he decided to go ahead and release the song, saying “I thought now was a good time to put this song out with everything that has been and is going on in the world.”
