Young country music singer Morgan Wallen is a rising star in the entertainment industry with no intentions of slowing down any time soon.
Morgan Wallen began his trek to superstardom on the sixth season of the popular reality talent show “The Voice,” in which he did quite well. He was originally placed on pop star Usher’s team but would later join Maroon five singer Adam Levine’s team. He was eliminated in the sixth season playoffs but parlayed the opportunity into a record deal and hasn’t looked back. The Tennessee native is very popular with country music fans for his authentic country style and magnificent voice. His big break came in 2016 when signed with Big Loud. He would go on to release his first album “If I Know Me” in 2018. The album contains Wallen’s first hit singles “Whiskey Glasses” and “Chasin’ You.”
Morgan Wallen is now hoping he has a new hit on his hands with his latest offering “Don’t Think Jesus.” In a recent social media post, Wallen gives country music fans a sample of the song. Judging by the reaction to his social media post, Morgan Wallen may indeed have big success on his hands.
“Don’t think Jesus,” Morgan Wallen writes in the caption space. He proceeds to give fans an acoustic version of his newest song and is quite spectacular. In the video, he also explains how the song came about.
Morgan Wallen Plays New Song For Social Media Followers
“Some of my friends sent me a song today,” he says. “I was on the way back home from playing a little golf. They wrote the song with me on their mind. It made me cry in the truck. I thought I would test it out on y’all and see if you had the same reaction. I just learned it a few minutes ago — so hopefully I get it right.”
Morgan Wallen did get the reaction he desired from his fans and social media followers, many of which say they love the song. In a testament to the rising country star’s popularity, the Friday Instagram post took in more than 700.000 “likes” only a few hours after its posting. Fans called for an encore in the comments section of Morgan Wallen’s social media post.
“Love this,” a Morgan Wallen fan writes. Lucky for you Jesus forgives. Now it’s your turn to forgive yourself.”
“You are the only singer I want to see live in concert right now,” another country music fan proclaims. “I hope you get out here real soon. The song is wonderful.”
Morgan Wallen has certainly had his share of ups and downs throughout his career but his arrow certainly appears to be pointing up.
