Randy Travis has been getting a lot of love in recent days. He deserves every bit of it, including a dedication from Kane Brown. Brown brought the country music legend on stage to give him kind words and sing one of his classics.

Whatever your opinion of Kane Brown and his music is, this was an awesome gesture. The two were in Dallas, in case you couldn’t tell by Brown’s jersey of choice. Travis got up to hug Brown, and talk about the recent Lifetime award the artist received.

Then he starts going into Three Wooden Crosses. Anyone who knows anything about Travis knows this song. The crowd sang back and the moment was amazing.

This is such a great move from Kane Brown. Any time that Randy Travis can be celebrated, he should be. It looks like he had a great time as well. Fans were given quite a performance with this one. You can hear the thousands of voices singing the country classic right back at the stage. Big applause to everyone involved.

Both of these artists have been getting a lot of praise recently. Travis received his award just last week. Meanwhile, Brown was also nominated for Artist of the Year by CMT on the same night. Brown’s voice is perfect for a Randy Travis cover. That is apparent in the video above. He gets off to a shaky first note or two, but when he finds it, it’s great.

Kane Brown Talks Inspiration for ‘Worldwide Beautiful’

In the last three years, there are few artists that have had a trajectory quite like Kane Brown. Honestly, Luke Combs is the only other artist to have a similar path. So, it makes sense why he was a nominee for CMT Artist of the Year. With his ability to write emotional songs and have a variety of styles, Brown has earned himself a lot of praise.

Along with songwriters Ryan Hurd, Shy Carter, and Jordan Schmidt, Worldwide Beautiful is another one of those deep emotional songs. The song, written before 2019, came across as very current and relevant when first released. Brown put a lot of work into the song. That includes the music video that the artist says was his biggest production ever.

Kane Brown likes to get deep with his music. So, the video features children of many races playing with one another. Race is a topic that Brown has tackled in the past. The children in the video are not concerned with the world around them falling apart. Also in the video, the adults are watching the news on TV while wearing blindfolds. Brown is not afraid to take risks and make statements. That is clear in his music and has led to his success.
