Watch: Thomas Rhett Drops Hilarious Blooper Reel From CMA Country Christmas

What a pair. Thomas Rhett just revealed the hysterical blooper reel from CMA Country Christmas 2020 hosting duties with wife Lauren Akins, and it’s safe to say these two had a great time.

Is there a cuter couple in country music? Thomas Rhett & Lauren Akins fans were thrilled when the pair was announced to host 2020’s CMA Country Christmas. And they didn’t disappoint!

Taking to Twitter this morning, Rhett says he and his wife “had a time filming” the show. “If you missed the show last night,” he continues, “catch it anytime On Demand or Hulu until Dec. 10th!”

From there, he hashtags the post with the main event: bloopers!

Thomas Rhett Shares CMA Country Christmas Bloopers

CMA must be happy with the couple’s performance, as they’ve already put together a blooper reel for Rhett to share. Within, the full, very real marriage of these two beautiful country stars is on display. Their chemistry shines through nervous energy, and their loving bickering should ring familiar to any married couples watching.

Right from the start, Rhett & Akins (or should we all be calling them the Akins?) are laughing together. Rhett attempting to set a stack of presents into Lauren’s arms clearly went awry more times than they anticipated. Moreover, a rogue bug decides to make Lauren’s hosting duties more difficult in the middle of a take.

The highlights, however, come in the form of these two simply smiling at and cherishing one another. It’s the little moments (cue the awwws).

Did you watch CMA Country Christmas in its entirety? The unique 2020 version of the show went over sensationally. Thomas Rhett was able to perform in addition to his hosting duties. His original holiday song, “Christmas in the Country“, went off without a hitch. Lady A had a blast performing, with “Wonderful Christmastime” shining bright, as well.
