The Zac Brown Band will be watching intently today when the Georgia Bulldogs take on the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The game, which will kick off a little later this afternoon (Saturday) is for all the marbles in the Southeastern Conference. Zac Brown Band knows who they will be pulling for in the highly anticipated college football matchup. As natives of Atlanta, Georgia, the group will be pulling for the Bulldogs to knock off the mighty Crimson Tide. Alabama is the defending National Champions but it is Georgia that has been the most dominant team through the 2021 season. The Bulldogs come in with a perfect 12-0 record as they look to make the college football playoffs once again. The Tide roll in at 11-1 and look to repeat as NCAA champions. This game will have huge implications on the college football playoffs and upcoming bowl season picture.

College Gameday set up shop outside of Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to preview the big game. Zac Brown Band was in attendance and the group’s lead singer, Zac Brown, served as the guest picker. Brown sat beside former football coach and ESPN College Football analyst Lee Corso as he made his picks for championship Saturday. He shared photos of the occasion on the Zac Brown Band social media page.

“Dawgs for life,” the caption from the band reads. “Thanks for showing up Atlanta.”

As you can see, Zac Brown Band had a good time hanging out with the College GameDay crew. They also took time to pose for photos with the Georgia cheerleading squad.

Zac Brown Band Will be Pulling for the Georgia Bulldogs

The Bulldogs have been the best team in college football this year, maintaining their top overall ranking for a majority of the year. The Alabama Crimson Tide, however, will be their toughest challenge to date.

With their Georgia roots, Zac Brown Band will be rooting for the Bulldogs all the way. Other Georgia Bulldog fans as well as some country music fans used the post’s comments section to express their thoughts on the big game.

“Dawgs got this,” one fan writes. “Bama doesn’t have anything on us.”

Others made sure to compliment Zac Brown on his GameDay appearance that was rather entertaining.

“You did great Zac and Go Dawgs!” a social media user writes. “Can’t wait to see y’all live again.”

Georgia comes into the SEC Championship games as the betting favorite. It will be their ground and pound offense and outstanding defense against the air-it-out offense of Alabama. It is certain to be a clash for the ages.
